Our servers are provided by Rackspace UK and are located in London data centres operating with at least 99.99% uptime. We provide domain registration and management services - we are a Nominet Member and tag holder (for .uk domains) and JANET Approved ISP Member (for .ac.uk and .gov.uk domains). We are a Comodo SSL partner allowing us to add fantastically priced HTTPS secure encrypted communication to your website in just minutes.

We are a small family-run business situated at the edge
of the Peak District in the centre of the UK. We've been trading as Future Shock since 1995 and became a UK private limited company in 2004. We have a very broad range of experience in the design, programming and marketing of both web-based and more traditional media.

We have worked with clients of all scales, ranging from international investment banks and multinational PLCs
to sole traders and personal home sites. We've built
e-commerce sites, estate agent sites, bespoke content managed systems, and information websites. We pride ourselves on delivering sites which best meet our clients' needs - whoever they may be and whatever their budget.

		DSSmith PLC A recent re-design has brought the DSSmith PLC site upto date with the ever expanding company. It presents a large amount of information in a clear and easy to navigate format.
Basildon Bond A small brand information site with content management system and design that reflects a very traditional and highly reputed brand. Basildon Bond is one of the UK's best known stationery brands.
		Tektura After a recent re-design, Tektura's website is better than ever. The site is structured around a database updated easily through our custom built admin suite. The "Express" section of the site features a complex e-commerce solution which includes a fully flexible discount structure and a customer login.
Home Espana A large estate agency website based on our Virtual Property Shop kit. As with all Virtual Property Shop sites, the site features an easily updateable property database, an "email alerts" system and clean, simple property pages. HomeEspana also features large information and news sections, for which we provided both the design and the content.
		Cambridge Books Another small brand site with content management and feedback form. Like Basildon Bond, this brand is part of the Hamelin Paperbrands group.
Totally Funky A fully featured e-commerce platform built using the latest ASP.NET and SQL Server technologies to designs provided by the client. Also see its sister sites Strawberry Fool and I Love Vee Dub which are powered by the same platform.
		The Support Directory A electronic directory platform produced in ASP.NET and SQL Server, already powering directories for reqional branches of a number of major national charities. Released in partnership with C27 Media under the company name e-directories ltd.
Virtual Property Shop Product website for our Virtual Property Shop estate agent website kit. A powerful property search and management system (including CMS) supporting unlimited properties, photos and languages. Written in classic ASP and powered by a Microsoft Access database, it can be hosted on most high-quality Windows hosting providers.
		The Kids Window A sophisticated e-commerce site selling children's clothing, child-sized furniture and games. It includes a product search, stock control, various "sell-up" features and payment in 3 currencies. The site has recently had a design makeover to coincide with the launch of several new product ranges.
Kaysersberg Plastics Kaysersberg is another DS Smith site that Future Shock maintain. We redesigned and built this site to revamp their image. It involves a product animation on the homepage and multi-lingual content.
		Spanish Holidays Direct A owners-direct portal website for holiday rental villas and apartments in Spain. A collaboration project between Future Shock and several highly-experienced specialist in the Spanish property and holidays market.
Zotefoams We built this site from scratch in 8 languages, with large sections of the site updatable through a back-end admin suite.
		Mediterranean Ocean Properties Another estate agent site, based on the Virtual Property Shop kit. This site, including the logo, was designed and built on a tight budget.
Glendale Design Consultants Ltd A fun site which showcases some of the work of a successful UK graphic design company. It was built to a very specific design by the client using Flash. The site is quite definately not an example of a search-engine optimised and accessible website, but that wasn't its purpose.
