Hi All

Sorry, I am a newbie to this trying to learn as quickly as possible, so please bear with me and just humour me if need be

Once the kit is uploaded, the browser page reads:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131'

Disallowed Parent Path

/pages/ES/index.asp, line 5

The Include file '../../modules/common.inc' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory.

I have no doubt that is something I have caused by my inexperience although any one´s help with this will be much appriciated.

This is not due to your inexperience - your hosting account has "Allow parent paths" disabled. You could try contacting your hosting company and requesting they enable the feature, but as they have chosen to disallow (not the default Microsoft setting) the are unlikely to do so.

In which case your choices are either to use a hosting company that does not implement such excessive security control or to open every file ASP and INC in the kit and replace the lines:

We do not release the kit using such "virtual" includes as this prevents the kit from working in a subfolder of a site (very inconvenient for developers when testing offline).
